Suwon Cultural Foundation

Featuring some beautiful looking Hanok buildings and the Hwaseomun Gate at the Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, Hwaseo Sarangchae is a modest venue for culture and art open to all people. It offers venues for training and education where visitors can learn about Korean traditional culture with Pansori, Minyo music, Korean traditional musical instruments, etc. Hwaseo Sarangchae also has venues for standing exhibitions where artists can showcase their creative work. Meanwhile, the outdoor park area is used for a variety of traditional culture and art activities every weekend where visitors and performers can come together for performances and experiential programs.
