The 2026 Suwon Hwaseong Media Art begins a new seasonal journey under the theme “Saebit Dongrak: Suwon Hwaseong Blossoming in Light.”
Inspired by the iridescent colors of mother-of-pearl, representing the eight symbolic colors of Suwon, the festival explores the value of coexistence by connecting the past, present, and future, as well as citizens, visitors, and local communities.
Through large-scale projection mapping, interactive media art, artistic landscape lighting, and immersive digital experiences, visitors can discover the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Suwon Hwaseong, in a completely new way.
