물속으로 첨벙첨벙~ 더위 보다 더 핫한 도시 바캉스 수원 물놀이 Spot

 

다시 또 뜨거운 여름이 찾아왔다. 저 멀리 휴가를 떠날 여유가 없다면, 도심 곳곳에 위치한 피서지에서 무더운 여름을 즐겨보자.쌓아왔던 걱정과 고민은 뿜어져 나오는 물줄기에 씻어버리고, 얼음처럼 차가운 물에 발을 담근 채쉼 없이 달려온 나에게 행복한 시간을 선물하자.

뜨거운 무더위를 견디다보니 벌써 여름휴가가 돌아왔다. 휴가기간 동안가족들과 함께할 여행이 기다려지는 한편, 북새통을 이루는 고속도로와가는 곳마다 북적거릴 인파를 생각하니 벌써부터 피곤해지기도 한다.여름휴가는 확실히 이중성을 갖고 있다. 모두가 일할 때 가는 여행은여유롭지만, 다들 쉬는 기간에 가는 여행은 경쟁이 된다. 이는 아마도여름휴가가 ‘여행’과 동일시 여겨지기 때문일 것이다. 근로시간이 많고,휴일이 잘 보장되지 않는 회사에 다닌다면 여름휴가처럼 긴 휴가가주어질 때만이라도 반드시 멀리 여행을 가야한다는 강박에 사로잡히기도한다.





하지만 휴가는 지친 몸을 재충전 해주는 것이다. 무리한 휴가는 좋지않은 추억으로 남아 오히려 독이 될 수 있다. 휴가지를 정하지 못하고,휴가 계획을 잘 실천하지 못했다고 해서 여름휴가를 제대로 보내지못한 것은 아니다. 휴가 기간 동안 하루 종일 게임을 하거나, 보고 싶었던영화를 마음껏 보고, 그동안 만나지 못했던 사람들과 함께 수다를 떠는것도 휴가가 될 수 있다. 빡빡하고 여유 없는 일상을 살아가고 있는사람이라면, 핸드폰을 손에서 놓은 채 몸과 마음을 쉬게 해 주는 것만으로이미 휴가의 목적은 달성되었다





지시간과 여건이 되지 않는다면, 도심 속에서 피서를 즐기는 것도 짧은휴가를 알차게 보내는 좋은 방법이다. 도심에서의 피서를 선택하는사람들이 늘면서 ‘스테이케이션(Stay + Vacation)’, ‘시티 바캉스’ 등의신조어가 생길 정도로 도시에서 휴가를 보내는 현상이 이제는 하나의트렌드로 자리 잡았다. 도시 바캉스를 즐기는 방법도 다양하지만수원에서는 가족이 피크닉을 즐길 수 있는 곳이 많다.





그중 도심 속 물놀이터는 아이들과 휴가를 함께하는 이들이 후다닥다녀올 수 있는 훌륭한 피서지로 넓은 공원에 텐트나 그늘막을 설치하고,간편하게 물놀이를 즐길 수 있다. 매일 깨끗한 물로 교체되는 도심속 물놀이터는 안전요원이 배치돼 있어 안심하고 물놀이를 즐길 수있으며 비치공이나 물총, 튜브를 챙겨 하루 동안 신나는 시간을 보내고오기 제격이다. 뿐만 아니라 임시 개장하는 물놀이장에서는 워터파크못지않은 스릴 넘치는 슬라이드에 몸을 던져보거나, 온몸이 흠뻑 젖는것도 아랑곳 하지 않고, 물장구를 치다보면 동심으로 돌아간 듯한 기분이든다. 목 좋은 곳에 자리 잡은 텐트 안에서 늘어지게 낮잠을 자다 해가지면 친구들과 치맥을 먹으며 피서를 보내는 것도 괜찮다.





반면 나 홀로족들은 폭염의 열기를 피해 감미로운 음악과 시원한물줄기가 뿜어져 나오는 음악분수 벤치에 앉아 잠시 음악에 취해보는것도 좋다. 또 뜨거운 햇살을 막아주는 공원 그늘 아래서 간단한 간식거리하나 손에 쥐고서 책을 읽어보는 것도 휴가를 즐기는 좋은 방법이다.글자에 대한 알레르기 반응이 있는 사람이라면 만화책도 좋고, 간담을서늘하게 할 추리소설이나 나에게 일어날 가능성이 전혀 없는 로맨스소설을 섭렵해보는 것도 즐겁다. 시원한 커피 한잔과 책 한권만으로 소설속 주인공을 통해 시공을 초월한 휴가를 떠날 수 있다.





빡빡한 일상을 벗어난 만큼 누군가의 휴가를, 국경선 밖으로 멀리 떠난여행을 부러워 말자. 빌딩숲이 자리한 도심에서도 휴식이라는 진정한휴가의 의미를 찾는 사람이라면 발길 닿는 곳이 훌륭한 피서지가 될 수있다. 해외 열대 섬의 파라솔 아래 눕거나 국내 시원한 계곡물에 발을담그지 않더라도 나만의 도시 바캉스로 뜨거운 여름을 핫하게 즐겨보자.

광교산에서 수원 남쪽 도심을 가로질러 흐르는 수원천의 산책로는

바람에 흔들리는 버드나무 가지들을 벗 삼아 시원한 물소리를 들을 수 있다.

바람에 섞인 싱그러운 풀내음을 맡다보면 주변을 둘러보는 여유도 생긴다

‘백성과 더불어 즐긴다’는 뜻의 화성행궁광장 여민각與民閣 앞에는

시원한 물줄기를 내뿜는 분수와 어린이들을 위한 물놀이 시설이 마련돼 있다.



 

화홍문 수원천

 

수원화성의 북수문인 화홍문은 수원천의 범람을 막아주는 소중한 곳이다.

7개의 수문을 통해 맑은 물이 넘쳐흘러 만들어진 물보라 위에는 현란한 무지개가 아름다움을 더한다.



 

만석공원 분수

 

멋진 운치를 자랑하는 만석공원은 밤이 되면, 낮의 싱그러움을 뒤로하고 신나는 음악과 함께하는

화려한 분수쇼가 펼쳐진다. 아름다운 조명에 비친 세찬 물줄기는 한여름 밤의 더위를 절로 잊게 만든다.

While enduring the hot weather, the summer holidays are alreadyback. While the travel shared with family members during theholidays are awaited, just the thought of the highway jammed withtraffic and large crowds seen everywhere makes one tired already.Definitely the summer holidays have duplicity. While travelingwhen everybody is at work is leisurely, traveling when everybodyis off becomes a competition. This may be because the summervacation is equated with traveling. If you work for a companywhere off days are not well respected and which has enormouslabor hours, you are often obsessed with the notion that youhave go to a remote place for traveling at least in the summertime when it is the only time of the year when long holidays aregranted. However, your vacation is for recharging your tired body.Impractical holidays may remain as bad memories rather causing harm. Even if you did not decide a place for taking a vacation,and could not actualize your holiday plans well, your holidayswere not wasted. If you indulged in games all day long during yourholidays, or in movies as much as you like, and in chatting awaywith people you were unable to meet up with because of yourbusy work schedule, your holidays are well spent. For anybodyleading a tight daily life without time to relax, just letting the bodyand mind rest with the mobile phone turned off already fulfilledthe purpose of the holidays. If your time and circumstances donot permit traveling during the holidays, enjoying your vacationin the downtown area is a good way to enjoy your short holidaysfruitfully. As many people opt for a vacation in the downtown area,the phenomenon of spending holidays in the city is settling asa trend, so that newly-coined words such as ‘Stacation (Stay +Vacation)’, ‘City vacance’ have emerged. The ways to enjoy yourvacation in the city is diverse, but in Suwon, there are many placeswhere families can enjoy a picnic.



Among them, the water playground in the downtown area is agood summer resort for those who whip through the holidays withchildren, where citizens may set up a tent or shade canopy in abig park and enjoy playing in the water. At the water playground in the heart of the city where clean water is replaced daily, you canenjoy playing in the water as the lifeguard is on duty. The waterplayground is perfect for spending an exciting day with beachballs, water guns and floating tubes. Furthermore, at the waterplayground that opens temporarily, you can throw yourself intothe slide that provides as much thrill as those in the water park.Or you may tread in the waters never minding being thoroughlywet all over the body, then you feel like you are returning to theinnocence of your childhood. It is also good to have a good nap inthe tent located in a good shade, and enjoy your vacation eatingchicken and beer with your friends after dark. On the other hand,those who are alone in the holidays may get lost in music, sittingat the bench beside the Music Fountain spurting out sweet musicand cool stream of water while avoiding the heat of the heat wave.In addition, another good way to enjoy the holidays is to readbooks with just one simple snack in your hand under the shadein the park protected from the hot sunlight. If you are allergic toprinted letters, it is a pleasure to be immersed in any comic book,mystery story that scare the life out of you, or any romantic novelswith stories that are not likely to happen to you. With a cup of coldcoffee and a book, you can go on your vacation transcending timeand space through the main characters in your novel.



As long as you are out of the tight daily routine, do not envysomeone else’s 6 night 7 day holidays far beyond the Koreanborders. For anyone who seeks out rest as the true meaning ofthe holidays even within the concrete jungle of the central businessdistrict, the place where you incline your steps can be an excellentsummer resort. Even without lying down under the parasol intropical islands overseas, or without dipping your feet into the coldwater in a valley in Korea, enjoy your hot summer in a fashionableway with your very own urban vacation.
